Read MoreSo I’ve been out of work now three weeks and was approved for benefits of $299 a week. I requested payment Monday expecting roughly $598 deposited into my account for the first two weeks on unemployment, but found they gave me $1,618 which is nearly triple the amount I was approved for. Now obviously more money is a good thing but I don’t want to find out later they overpaid me and I’ll have to pay it back when I’ve likely already spent it. Has anyone else experienced this?
