Read MoreStopped in at the new HEB at Wash/Heights this morning around 10. We were reassured by the number of people leaving with full carts. There was toilet paper and many essentials, lots of meat and vegetables, but they are out of many items like milk and eggs.
The line literally began at the back of the store, but they are staging it so that the line moves very quickly. We got in line at the back corner in the dairy section it took less than five minutes to get to the checkout. It wasn’t a madhouse, and people were nice and friendly. As others have mentioned, their hours are now 8a-8p.
