Month: March 2020

I think DHop’s departure puts some new perspective on what happened with our other stars that have left the team in recent years.

We remember the various reasons we heard at the time when we lost players like Clowney, Brown, Foster, and even Andre Johnson. I’m not discounting what we already knew, but the one thing they all have in common is that they were all leaders on the team and well-respected in the locker room and they all left the team under the watch of Bill O’Brien.

The only thing keeping JJ safe is how much he means for our city after what he did during Harvey and Deshaun is still under his rookie contract. But if they even slightly encroach on BoB’s fragile ego then it’s obvious they could be pushed out too. I’m tired of watching BoB slowly cull out the heart of our franchise.

O’brien needs to refute Irvin’s comments or step down.

If this proves to be true, how can O’brien survive this? The trade was bad enough for him to be let go, but this takes it to another level. Hop is beloved by fans and teammates alike, and is a stud on the field. If O’brien actually compared him to a convicted murderer, GTFOH!

I personally need to see him come out and refute this. I don’t know if I’d even believe him if he did, but until he does, he’s guilty in my book.

Looking for Spiciest Ramen/Noodles in Houston

This coming Friday will be my wife and my anniversary and I wanted to find her the best spicy ramen/noodle bowl in Houston. Well now that everyone is closed or “To Go” only, I’m looking for any advice/recommendations you can give me.

I would like to add some context as to what “spicy” means to this crazy woman that I love. She is Vietnamese and has long since burned off any semblance taste buds on her tongue. Hot foods that she adores/regularly order include:

– Samyang Ramen ( https://www.amazon.com/Samyang-Ramen-Chicken-Roasted-Noodles/dp/B00ICT6ARS)

– 5 level spice curry at Thai Cottage (which to her is still relatively mild)

– anything from Mala Sichuan with a high “pepper rating”

– Zulu Sauce (or anything with Peri Peri Pepper) ( http://www.zuluzulu.com/ZuluZuluHotSauces.html )

– Blazing Sauce from BW3 (but she typically says its has too much vinegar)(ie. heat without flavor)

– Siracha Sauce (usually enough to turn anything a healthy shade of red)
