I was young and was more into eating cotton candy and yelling “pitchers got a big butt” (rookie of the year reference) at the Dome than paying attention to the actual game.

I was listening to TexAgs radio today, and they made the statement that the ‘94 Astros would’ve won the World Series if not for the strike and Jeff Bagwell was on pace to have the best offensive season in MLB history.

I obviously can google some of this, but this is Reddit and I love learning from discussion –

Those that were following the team, what was that team / season like? Do you agree with above claims? & give me a rank of the top few teams that didn’t win the World Series (excluding the ones we didn’t win post 2017).
