1990s Randall’s Icebox Swirl Cookies anyone else remember?

Guys and gals, I have NOT been able to stop thinking about the Randall's Icebox red/white swirl cookies that they used to make growing up. 1992-1997 I remember them vividly. Specifically in the Randall's in the front of Kingwood (North Park Plaza) and then the one in the back (West Lake Houston and Kingwood Drive). They used to be great.

Does anyone else remember these?! I cannot find a satisfactory recipe or anything that tastes like remotely close to them.

As I face the fact that everyone in my family is getting older, and some people become memories, I'm looking for an old comfort. Being able to replicate these dang things would be a nice sense of closure.
