15 hour layover 6:20am – 9:40am next day.

Gonna be flying into George bush International Airport. I have 15ish hour layover overnight. Would love to go into town but unfamiliar with traffic/public transport. And I just booked this flight 4 days before I depart so I’m looking to Reddit to help me weed out some terrible ideas and get some good ideas.

Is it worth going into town for the evening? Stay in town or book a hotel closer to the airport. I did search my question but saw threads from over a year ago and lots can change from then.
