0-2 is fine. Not looking remotely competitive isn’t.

The fact we dropped the first two games doesn’t surprise me. When I saw the schedule, I anticipated it.

We’re playing the defending Super Bowl champions (who kept the majority of their star players) in week 1 and the team with the best record in the NFL last season in week 2. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that we started 0-2 this season.

But the fact that we didn’t look competitive during either of those games is a huge red flag. Unsurprisingly, Watson’s production is down (can someone file a missing persons report for Fuller?). The defense looks flat. The offensive play-calling and decision-making is outmoded.

Talent-wise, this team is markedly worse than last year’s. I don’t expect much from the Texans, really. But this is shaping up to be a loooooooong season, boys.
